Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Engineer specializing in Estimation & Costing to support our proposal and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, reviewing technical specifications, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure competitive and compliant proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform
quantity take-off
for electrical equipment and cabling.
Prepare
Bill of Quantities (BOQ)
and detailed
cost estimates
.
Review
electrical specifications
,
single line diagrams
, and
load calculations
.
Estimate
power distribution systems
and ensure compliance with
IEC/IS standards
and project requirements.
Analyze
vendor and subcontractor quotations
for pricing and technical compliance.
Conduct
market price benchmarking
and identify opportunities for
cost optimization
.
Coordinate with
proposal, design, and procurement teams
to align on project requirements and deliverables.
Support
value engineering
initiatives and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in
estimation and costing
within the EPC or infrastructure sector.
Strong understanding of
electrical systems
,
codes
, and
standards
(IEC/IS).
Proficiency in
MS Excel
,
AutoCAD
, and estimation software/tools.
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
