Job Description

Role Summary: The Engineering Manager (Electrical) is responsible to oversee and carry out the tasks related to Electrical part of the Project. He/She shall work on but not limited to the following assignments: 1. Technical support during project bidding 2. Design and Engg. review of RE Projects, Performance Analysis of existing assets. 3. Co-ordinate with Owner's Engineering consultant The candidate Should be able to evaluate and advise on technologies like Wind , BESS , hybrid, floating solar etc. as well Education: B.E/ B.Tech, M.Tech (Electrical) Experience 4-6 years with experience with at least 3 years in RE industry. Candidates with prior experience in an IPP shall be preferred. Technical Skills: Must possess technical knowledge of related engineering systems, equipment, engineering calculations, Protection systems. Proficient knowledge of engineering economics, optimization processes and decision making techniques like Cost-benefit analysis etc. Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVSyst and other energy simulation software Knowledge of the latest technological development in the solar/ renewable industry 5. Knowledge of HV/EHV switchyard, HV / EHV transmission line and other power evacuation systems 6. Preparation of specifications for procurement contracts and technical evaluation of proposals. 7. Ability to set out procedures / processes for ensuring smooth functioning of engineering functions. Behavioral Skills 8. Ability to write structured reports as per the project requirements. 9. Technical expertise on selection of Electrical components like Cables, 33kV Panels, Inverters, IDT and main power Transformers etc. Show more Show less
