We are looking for a skilled CAD Designer with hands-on experience in AutoCAD for electrical systems design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and updating CAD drawings related to electrical panels, cable routing, interconnect diagrams, and loop diagrams to support system functionality and integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and modify AutoCAD designs for electrical panels, cable layouts, and loop/interconnect diagrams.

• Interpret redline markups provided in PDF files and update existing CAD drawings accordingly.

• Develop new CAD designs based on concepts or design inputs shared via PDF or other documentation.

• Estimate design efforts and timelines effectively.

• Prepare documentation for submittal as per project and client requirements.

• Participate in client meetings to present design approaches, clarify queries, and incorporate feedback.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design accuracy and completeness.

• Experience in detailed engineering for the interconnections and loop diagram.

Required Skills:

• Proficient in AutoCAD with a strong background in electrical design.

• Good understanding of electrical panels, cable management systems, and loop/interconnect diagrams.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering markups and translate them into updated CAD drawings.

• Experience in effort estimation for design activities.

• Familiarity with submittal processes in engineering or construction projects.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to confidently present and explain design decisions during customer meetings.

• Experience working on Wastewater Management Systems or similar industrial control systems

Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering

Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, focusing on control panel design and development.
