Job Description: Electrical Design Engineer Position: Electrical Design Engineer Experience Required: 20+ years Location: Chennai Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer with a solid background in electrical engineering, project management, and site handling. The ideal candidate will be adept at client interaction, design reviews, and have extensive knowledge of high-voltage (HV) and low-voltage (LV) systems. Proficiency with Indian standards (NBC, IS), NFPA, IEC, and NEC is required. Key Responsibilities: Electrical Design & Load Calculations : Perform complex load calculations and select appropriate high-side electrical equipment. Project & Client Management : Coordinate with clients, manage project timelines, and ensure smooth handling of on-site activities. Design Reviews & Compliance : Conduct design reviews to ensure alignment with standards like NBC/IS, NFPA, IEC, and NEC. Presentation & Communication Skills : Present designs and project updates to clients and internal teams effectively. HV & LV Systems Design : Develop and review designs for high and low-voltage electrical systems. Technical Skills: Software Proficiency : AutoCAD ETAP DIALux SKM AGI Revit Codes & Standards : National Building Code (NBC) Indian Standards (IS) NFPA, IEC, NEC Qualifications: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Extensive experience (20+ years) in electrical design, project management, and client handling. Preferred Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
