Job Description

Job Purpose:

To design, develop, and implement electrical systems and schematics for products, projects, or facilities, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards, and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical Design & Drafting:
Prepare electrical design drawings including single-line diagrams, schematics, wiring layouts, and control panel layouts using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).
Design and size electrical components like transformers, circuit breakers, MCCs, switchgears, relays, and PLCs.
Project Engineering:
Work closely with the project management and production teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
Develop electrical BOMs (Bill of Materials), load schedules, cable schedules, and technical documentation.
Technical Review & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with IEC, IS, NEC, IEEE, or client-specific electrical standards.
Conduct design reviews and electrical calculations (load flow, short circuit, voltage drop, etc.).
Coordination & Communication:
Interface with mechanical, civil, and other engineering disciplines to integrate electrical designs.
Communicate with vendors for specification and selection of electrical components and equipment.
Support & Testing:
Provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems.
Prepare test procedures and assist QA/QC in inspection and troubleshooting.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain and update design documentation and records.
Provide regular progress reports and design status updates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
