Job Description

General Profile

: Fully demonstrates in-depth knowledge and experience. Assigned as a resource for colleagues with less experience including as a coach/mentor. Works independently, receives guidance in only moderately complex situations.

Core Competencies:

Design Electrical circuits
Perform Load calculation
Component selection
Electrical Software E3s
Understanding of Electrical Standards UL508A, NFPA79, NEC, SEMI etc.
Understanding of IO based Controllers, CIOC, Distributed IO etc.,

Good to have:

Communication Protocols: Ethercat, TCP/IP, Modbus RS485 and Modbus TCP/IP
PLC: Beckhoff PLC + Twin CAT Software
Software: LabVIEW (Basic Level)
Programming: C and C++
GUI: SCADA, HMI/MMI, Datalogging
Basic understanding of servers
Servo motion control
CAD modelling software Auto-Desk-Inventor, UG-NX etc.,

Key Responsibilities

Design or modify electrical/electronic engineering assemblies, layouts/schematics and/or detailed drawings/specifications of difficult scopeProblem identification and troubleshooting a variety of complex electrical problems with limited supervisionDefine, coordinate, perform and generate engineering test reports with limited supervisionPerform engineering analysis of difficult scope with limited supervisionTechnically lead and/or executes engineering projects, including development of key suppliersImplements concepts for variety of complex product issues and electrical solutions of difficult scopeGenerate electrical product specificationsSpecify and review engineering documentation

Functional Knowledge

Demonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines

Business Expertise

Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market

Leadership

Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements

Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information

Impacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams; works within broad guidelines and policies
