Electrical Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

Design & Engineering

• Prepare

  electrical system designs

  including:
• Power distribution (HT/LT)
  
• Lighting systems
  
• Earthing & lightning protection
  
• Cable sizing and routing
  
• DG sets, UPS, transformers
  
• Solar (if applicable)
  
• Prepare

  SLD, layout drawings, schematics, and detailed construction drawings, knowledge and experience about PLC Panel designing & SCADA.

• Perform

  load calculations, voltage drop calculations, short circuit calculations

• Ensure designs comply with

  IS, IEC, NBC, CEA, CPWD

  standards

BOQ & Estimation

• Prepare

  accurate BOQ

  based on drawings and specifications
• Develop

  material take-offs (MTO)

  for electrical works
• Assist in

  cost estimation, budgeting, and tender documentation

• Coordinate with procurement for

  technical evaluation of vendor offers

• Support value engineering and cost optimization
  

Coordination & Support

• Coordinate with

  civil, HVAC, fire-fighting, and plumbing teams

• Provide technical support to

  site execution teams

• Review shop drawings and as-built drawings
  
• Attend design review and coordination meetings
  

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to

  statutory approvals

  and safety norms
• Support testing & commissioning activities
  
• Prepare technical documentation, datasheets, and specifications

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with atleast 5- 8 years of experience.

• Certification in

  Electrical Design / AutoCAD.
