Job Description

Job Title: Electrical Automation Engineer Experience: Minimum 2 Years Location: Coimbatore Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Electrical Automation Engineer to design, program, and integrate industrial automation systems. The role involves PLC programming, HMI development, control panel design, motion control, robotics integration, and project execution from concept to commissioning. Key Responsibilities: Develop and troubleshoot PLC programs using Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Siemens, Omron, Beckhoff, and Delta platforms. Design and develop HMI screens, including layouts, controls, alarms, and data displays. Create control panel designs, electrical schematics, and architectures using AutoCAD/E-Plan. Integrate robotics and motion control systems (servo motors, pneumatic actuators) into automation solutions. Configure and work with communication protocols such as RS-232, TCP/IP, Modbus, CAN, and ActiveX. Select motors, drives, AC systems, cables, and other components based on load calculations and application standards. Collaborate with mechanical design engineers for smooth system integration. Prepare and maintain project documentation including BOMs, purchase requisitions, test reports, and SOPs. Handle automation projects independently from design to commissioning. Troubleshoot electrical and automation systems to ensure minimal downtime. Skills Required: PLC Programming, HMI Development, Control Panel Design, Electrical Architecture, Motion Control, Robotics Integration, AutoCAD/E-Plan, Communication Protocols (RS-232, TCP/IP, Modbus, CAN), Electrical Troubleshooting, Load & Cable Calculations, Documentation.
