Job Description

Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

Safety Program Development:
Create and implement safety policies, procedures, and training programs to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
Risk Assessment:
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify hazards and assess risks in the workplace.
Training and Education:
Organize and deliver safety training sessions for employees, ensuring understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
Incident Investigation:
Lead investigations into workplace accidents and incidents, analysing root causes and recommending corrective actions.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other relevant safety standards, staying updated on changes in legislation.
Reporting and Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incidents, and compliance reports.
Emergency Preparedness:
Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures, including drills and training.
Collaboration:
Work closely with management and employees to promote a safety-oriented culture and address safety concerns.
Performance Monitoring:
Analyse safety performance metrics and provide regular reports to management, identifying trends and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or Diploma.
Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety

Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to conduct effective training and presentations.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
