Job Description

Position Title:

Key Responsibilities

Drive
environmental and sustainability initiatives
aligned with organizational and ESG goals.
Develop & implement
Environmental Management Plans
ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
Prepare and submit
reports, permits, and compliance documentation
to statutory authorities (SPCB/CPCB) and internal stakeholders.
Manage
environmental budgets, resources, and capital expenses
effectively.
Monitor & report
environmental KPIs
(air, water, noise, stack emissions, waste management, etc.) and implement improvement measures.
Lead
pollution control, waste management, recycling, and renewable energy practices
across the organization.
Conduct
risk assessments and audits
to ensure compliance with environmental laws and best practices.
Collaborate with
cross-functional teams, government authorities, and external stakeholders
for smooth implementation of initiatives.
Promote
environmental awareness & training programs
for employees, contractors, and the local community.
Drive
sustainability strategies, public consultations, and ESMP/ESIA implementation
at project sites.
Ensure timely procurement of
CTE/CTO/Hazardous authorizations
and
safe hazardous waste disposal
as per guidelines.
Support
EHS&S Head
in policy development, BRSR disclosures, and ESG reporting requirements.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

Bachelors degree in Environmental Science/Engineering/Sustainability (mandatory).
Certification in
ISO 14001
.
M.Sc. (Environmental Science) preferred.

Experience:

Minimum
15+ years
of experience in
environment management, compliance, and sustainability programs
.
Strong exposure to
ESG frameworks, environmental laws, SPCB/CPCB compliance
.
Proven track record of leading
large-scale sustainability and compliance initiatives
.
