Position Title: EHS Specialist – Safety Product Innovation & SaaS Application Management

Location: Mumbai/ Gujarat/Odisha

Department: EHS / Product Development

Experience Required: 3–8 years (EHS + Safety Product + SaaS workflow understanding)

Role Overview

The EHS Specialist will play a dual role Ensure workplace safety and compliance, and Work closely with the product/tech team to enhance the company’s Safety SaaS application. The ideal candidate must have strong EHS knowledge, hands-on experience with safety products, and the ability to suggest, design, and implement improvements within a SaaS platform.

Key Responsibilities

EHS & Workplace Safety

• Implement and monitor EHS policies, procedures, and statutory compliance.
• Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits.
• Identify hazards and recommend corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety training, and awareness programs.
• Support incident/accident reporting and root-cause analysis (RCA).

Safety Product Knowledge

• Strong understanding of PPE, safety equipment, and industry-standard safety products.
• Identify opportunities for product improvement based on field usage and customer feedback.
• Propose innovative ideas for new safety features or product enhancements.
• Work with OEMs/vendors to understand product capabilities and limitations.

Business Development (EHS Safety Products)

· Pitch safety products and solutions to clients with clear value and benefit explanation.

· Develop sales strategies for safety products and EHS solutions.

· Identify new business opportunities and maintain strong client relationships.

· Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions.

· Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial offers for clients.

· Achieve sales targets for safety products and EHS services.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong EHS knowledge (HIRA, JSA, LOTO, PTW, Risk Assessment).
• Familiarity with safety products, PPE, and industrial safety standards.
• Understanding of SaaS-based platforms, digital safety modules, and mobile applications.
• Ability to convert EHS processes into digital workflows.
• Basic knowledge of product design, wireframing, or feature specification (added advantage).
• Good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, product, tech).

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering or Science with a Safety Certification (ADIS / NEBOSH / IOSH).
• 3–8 years of experience in EHS roles, preferably in manufacturing / industrial environment.
• Experience with safety products and exposure to SaaS tools or digital safety apps is preferred.
