Job Description

As an EHS Manager at Johnson Matthey, you will play a crucial role in contributing to the company's mission as a world leader in sustainable technology. Your responsibilities will include: - Effective implementation of Site EHS policies and procedures. - Ensuring compliance with all EHS legislation and JM group EHS requirements. - Conducting EHS audits and inspections on a daily basis and leading EHS improvement plans to achieve Zero EHS incidents. - Planning, organizing, and providing EHS training to employees, contractors, and visitors as required. - Coordinating with all departments to conduct EHS risk assessments/PHA and ensuring implementation of control measures. - Maintaining statutory testing data, inspection records, and submitting them to statutory authorities as per legal requirements. - Investigating accidents and dangerous occurrences, identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and communicating them to relevant personnel. - Maintaining appropriate statistics on the facility's EHS performance and providing regular reports to management. Key skills/qualifications that will help you succeed in this role include: - Extensive experience within an EHS role in the Chemical Industry. - Relevant EHS qualifications. - Knowledge/experience of risk assessments/HAZOPS. - Proven experience as an EHS Leader.
