As the Head of Safety, you will be responsible for leading and managing the full implementation of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies, procedures, and regulations across Power Transmission and Substation projects. Your role will involve strategic planning, risk management, and fostering a strong safety culture within the organization. You will work closely with site teams, subcontractors, and project managers to ensure compliance with IMS, HSE manuals, and legal standards, promoting a safe work environment. Your key responsibilities will include developing and executing comprehensive EHS strategies aligned with organizational goals, ensuring regulatory compliance through monitoring and audits, managing risk through site-specific plans and hazard identification, providing safety training for staff and subcontractors, leading incident investigations and implementing preventive actions, conducting safety inspections and awareness campaigns, supervising EHS engineers, managing safety equipment, preparing reports, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a recognized Safety Diploma or Certification, along with over 10 years of proven experience in leading EHS initiatives in Power Transmission, Substation, or related projects. You should possess strong leadership, decision-making, and communication skills, a thorough understanding of IMS, HSE regulations, and safety requirements, familiarity with risk assessments and incident investigation techniques, and the flexibility to travel and relocate across India as per project needs. You should have a strong technical knowledge of chemicals and a good understanding of Chemical Safety Data Sheets (SDS). It is essential to know the proper usage of inert gas during drum filling and tank-to-tank transfers. Additionally, familiarity with cleaning chemicals, Environmental, Safety, and Health (EHS) policies, and chemical labeling is required. You must comprehend the business of cargo transfer, particularly liquid commodities imported by traders for resale in the market. Identifying opportunities in hinterland business and locating small manufacturers without drumming facilities is crucial. Moreover, understanding the second-hand Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC) market and effectively communicating with technical staff and senior management on priority accounts and projects is essential. The role involves maintaining a deep understanding of customer operations to determine their technical needs. The location of the job is in Tardeo, Mumbai, with working days from Monday to Saturday in the Liquid Logistics industry. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including commuter assistance, health insurance, and Provident Fund. The compensation package includes a performance bonus, and the schedule consists of day shifts and fixed shifts. The job requires 75% willingness to travel and a minimum of 1 year of total work experience, with at least 3 years in Chemical Sales. Raise laboratory Change control, incidents, deviations and LI wherever applicable. Review of Instrument qualification and scheduled calibration planner. Ensure proper laboratory analysis as per MOA and current product specification.

The Candidate should have knowledge in Chemical/Pharma Companies on EHS activities. Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies and procedures specific to the Chemical/Pharma industry. Conduct risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify and mitigate potential safety and environmental hazards. Perform regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company standards. Develop and deliver EHS training programs for employees. Investigate incidents and accidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Manage waste disposal and environmental compliance activities. Maintain accurate EHS records and documentation. Coordinate with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders. Any Degree/B.Tech or equalent qualification and Industrial Safety Diploma is preferable.
