Job Title: Educational Counselor – Study Abroad Location: Pune Job Type: Full-Time Department: International Education/Student Counseling Preferred Qualifications: Experience with regions like North America, UK, Australia, New Zealand, or Europe. Multilingual proficiency is an asset. Freshers With Good Commination will Be preferred   Certification in student counseling or career guidance (desirable). Job Summary: We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Educational Counselor – Study Abroad to guide students through the process of pursuing education overseas. The counselor will provide personalized advice on university selection, application procedures, visa processing, and pre-departure planning. Key Responsibilities: Student Counseling: Assess students’ educational background, interests, and career goals. Guide students in selecting suitable countries, courses, and universities. Provide accurate information on admission requirements, application procedures, costs, scholarships, and timelines. Application Support: Assist students with documentation, SOPs (Statements of Purpose), and application forms. Review and edit applications to ensure completeness and accuracy. Visa Guidance: Provide detailed information on student visa procedures for countries like the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe, etc. Assist in visa documentation and mock interviews where required. Follow-up and Coordination: Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and university representatives. Track application status and follow up for decisions and confirmations. Workshops & Events: Organize and participate in education fairs, webinars, and university info sessions. Deliver presentations in schools/colleges promoting study abroad opportunities. Record Management: Maintain accurate student records in CRM or counseling platforms. Prepare regular reports on counseling sessions, conversions, and outcomes. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Education, Counseling, International Relations, or a related field. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in educational counseling or international admissions. Strong understanding of global higher education systems and student mobility trends. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and meet targets in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with CRM systems, MS Office, and digital communication tools.
