Job Description

5+ years of experience in the eCommerce domain, and predominantly should have worked on Shopify. Should showcase leadership skills and be able to effectively manage L3 in the capacity of an L3 lead from offshore. Perform full-stack web application development with a variety of languages including but not limited to Javascript/TypeScript/React. Proven skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, as well as a thorough grasp of the DOM. Previous experience working with a custom theme and/or the Storefront API. Working knowledge of Shopify's theming system and Liquid templating. Previous experience implementing/debugging third-party Shopify apps. Deep understanding of support processes, ITSM principles and should have been involved in atleast one project which runs on support model. Preferably with experience in building unique solutions or custom apps in Shopify. In-depth knowledge and expertise with vanilla JavaScript, jQuery, ES2015/ES6, and current JavaScript frameworks. Good awareness of integration PBCs like Avalara (tax), Braintree (payments), ESW (pricing), Yotpo (ratings & review), Middleware systems for data transfer and downstream processing etc. Prefer someone with knowledge on one of the cloud provider services among AWS/Azure/GCP. Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and ability to express that understanding in code. Good understanding of observability tools, issue analysis, troubleshooting, debugging etc. NewRelic being the preferred observability tool. Show more Show less
