E-Tender Executive for HVAC and Electrical

An e-tender executive for the HVAC and electrical industry manages the electronic tendering process for projects, which includes analyzing tender documents, preparing bids, and coordinating with internal teams. This role requires a strong understanding of both HVAC and electrical systems, proficiency with e-procurement platforms like GeM and CPPP, and excellent coordination skills to ensure accurate and timely bid submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Tender analysis: Review and analyze tender documents, technical specifications, and drawings to understand the scope of work, technical requirements, and commercial terms for HVAC and electrical projects.
• Bid preparation: Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and pricing sheets. Develop technical and commercial proposals in compliance with tender requirements.
• Coordination: Liaise with design, estimation, procurement, and project departments to gather necessary information for bid submissions.
• E-procurement management: Manage the process on various e-procurement portals like GeM and CPPP, including registration, bid submission, and other online operations.
• Communication: Communicate with clients, consultants, and vendors to clarify tender requirements and ensure all parties are aligned.
• Documentation: Maintain a systematic record of all tender documentation, correspondence, and revisions. Update tender databases and track submissions.
• Compliance: Ensure all tender submissions comply with company policies, client requirements, and relevant regulations.

Required skills and qualifications

• Education: A diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering is preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in tendering or procurement, ideally with government tenders.
• Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC (chillers, AC units, ventilation) and electrical systems (power distribution, lighting, wiring).
• E-tendering expertise: Proficiency with e-procurement portals like GeM, CPPP, and others.
• Software skills: Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel for BOQs and pricing, and Word for documents.
• Soft skills: Excellent communication, coordination, and attention to detail are crucial for managing multiple tenders simultaneously and meeting deadlines.

Pay: ₹29,504.95 - ₹41,005.18 per month
