E-Commerce Manager - Shopify

About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Shopify eCommerce Store Manager to take ownership of our online store www.bastkari.com . This role involves ensuring all product pages are accurate and up-to-date, managing high-quality content, keeping visual assets clean and compelling, and ensuring third-party apps are functioning optimally. You’ll play a key role in delivering a smooth shopping experience and driving store performance. Key Responsibilities Product & Page Management: Add new products with proper titles, descriptions, variants, and SEO tags Update existing product pages for accuracy and consistency Monitor inventory visibility and product statuses Content & Design Updates: Ensure homepage banners, collections, and promotional content are current Upload and organize clean, high-resolution images Collaborate with designers or use Canva for basic graphics if required App & Integration Management: Install, configure, and maintain essential Shopify apps (e.g., reviews, email marketing, upsell tools) Monitor app performance and resolve basic issues or liaise with support Store Optimization: Review and improve navigation, filters, and page layout for better UX Maintain clean URLs, SEO tags, meta descriptions, and schema data Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility Reporting & Maintenance: Regularly audit the store for broken links, outdated content, or errors Track product views, bounce rates, and conversions using built-in analytics Generate performance reports and suggest improvements Requirements Hands-on experience with Shopify (basic to intermediate level) Familiarity with Shopify apps, themes, and backend management Understanding of product SEO, tagging, and eCommerce content best practices Basic knowledge of image editing tools (Canva, Photoshop, or equivalent) Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks without supervision Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude Bonus: Experience with Google Analytics, Klaviyo, or Meta Pixel setup Preferred but Not Mandatory Knowledge of AI tools like ChatGPT, Canva AI, or image enhancement tools Experience in basic HTML/CSS editing on Shopify (optional)
