We are looking for a hands-on executor and strategic operator who will own our e-commerce presence end-to-end, across Shopify, Etsy, and 1stDibs. You will not just manage but you will do, oversee, and continuously improve listings, UX, SEO, and cross-platform operations. Role & responsibilities 1) Shopify Store Management Maintain, update, and optimize Shopify product listings (titles, images, metadata, tags, and inventory). Audit and improve UX flows and user journey across the store. Manage mobile-first design consistency and Lighthouse performance score. 2) Marketplace Expansion & Optimization Upload and manage listings on Etsy, 1stDibs, and Amazon. Ensure daily listing activity to refresh visibility and rank higher in algorithms. Analyze competition, pricing, and visual hierarchy for constant refinement. 3) SEO, CRO & Product Content Perform daily/weekly audits of listings with SEO in mind. Implement A/B testing to improve titles, descriptions, and layout. Maintain clear, brand-consistent, and compelling copy with structured dimensions and USPs. Ensure at least 10 optimized images per product, working with in- house or outsourced resources. 4) Logistics, Inventory & Fulfilment Sync Maintain accurate stock levels and flag any discrepancies across platforms. Update delivery timelines and shipping profiles (especially for non- India SKUs). Monitor and manage return rates and customer communication. 5) Customer Experience & Feedback Loop Monitor reviews, resolve escalations, and optimize listing experience based on feedback. Collaborate with customer service to maintain professional, brand-aligned communication tone. Use ChatGPT or templates for standard but premium responses. Freelance & Internal Team Oversight Assign and track tasks for image updates, SKU formatting, backend fixes. Train junior support when needed. Ensure compliance with all instructions from founders or brand managers. 6) Reporting & Analytics Monitor KPIs weekly (AOV, CAC, CR, inventory health, organic traffic, bounce rates). Generate insight-driven reports using Shopify, Google Analytics, and marketplace dashboards. Coordinate updates with the marketing team. Preferred candidate profile 7+ years of hands-on experience managing and optimizing Shopify stores , driving sales growth and enhancing user experience. Proven track record working with premium platforms like Etsy, 1stDibs, and niche marketplaces , tailoring strategies to unique audiences. Deep expertise in SEO, product listing optimization , and conversion-driven merchandising. Specialized experience with luxury, artisanal, and slow-commerce brands , emphasizing quality and brand storytelling. Strong UX sensibility with a focus on CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) through A/B testing and data-driven refinements. Proficient in image editing and graphic tools (Photoshop, Canva, Figma) for high-quality visual merchandising. Skilled in competitive pricing strategies, marketplace listing optimization , and inventory performance analysis. Analytically fluent in GA4, Helium 10 , and similar e-commerce tools for insights and decision-making. Exceptional written English with a talent for crafting elegant, brand-aligned product copy. Passionate about interiors, object design, and curated aesthetics , bringing a refined eye to e-commerce merchandising.
