Job Description

Seeking an E-commerce Full Stack QA Selenium Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in automation using Java and Selenium. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts for core e-commerce flows such as product listing, search, cart, checkout, payment, and order management.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and/or mobile e-commerce applications using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
Identify test cases suitable for automation, prepare automation test plans, and ensure high regression coverage for e-commerce platforms.
Configure and work with automation frameworks and tools (Selenium, TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle, CI tools like Jenkins).
Execute automated test suites, analyze failures, log defects, and collaborate with developers and business analysts for issue resolution.
Validate integration points such as payment gateways, third-party APIs, inventory, and notifications in e-commerce projects.
Participate in sprint planning, refinement, and reviews, providing effort estimates and test impact analysis for new features.

Required Skills & Experience

1+ years of experience in automation testing with Selenium WebDriver and Java, preferably in e-commerce or retail domains.
Strong hands-on experience with Java programming for writing robust, reusable test scripts (Page Object Model or BDD style).
Experience testing e-commerce features: catalog, cart, coupons, checkout, payment, and order lifecycle.
Good understanding of QA concepts: functional, regression, integration, cross-browser, and basic performance checks for high-traffic shopping events.
Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar).
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with mobile automation for shopping apps (Appium).
Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, REST-assured).
Exposure to performance or load testing for peak e-commerce scenarios.
