Location: The Fern, Goregaon (Mumbai)Department: Front Office / OperationsPosition: Duty ManagerAbout the Role:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Duty Manager to join our 5-star luxury property in Goregaon, Mumbai. The ideal candidate will have a proven background of 2–3 years in a similar role within a 4- or 5-star hotel environment. The Duty Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, delivering exceptional guest experiences, and upholding the highest standards of service.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and oversee daily hotel operations across departments during shift.Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by promptly handling queries, complaints, and special requests.Coordinate with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Security, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.Conduct regular floor checks to maintain service quality and brand standards.Ensure smooth check-in, check-out, and overall guest handling processes.Assist in managing VIP guests, long-stay guests, and repeat clientele.Monitor and control operational costs while maintaining service excellence.Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health & safety standards, and statutory regulations.Support training, mentoring, and motivating staff to deliver five-star service consistently.Prepare daily reports and communicate important updates to management.Requirements:Minimum 2–3 years of prior experience as Duty Manager (or equivalent) in a 4- or 5-star hotel.Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-centric approach.In-depth knowledge of hotel operations, front office systems, and SOPs.Ability to work under pressure and handle high-stress situations professionally.Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays as per operational needs.Qualification:Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Hotel Management or related field preferred.Additional certifications in hospitality operations will be an added advantage.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive salary package Meals, uniforms, and other hotel perks as per policy.Career growth opportunities within The Fern Hotels & Resorts.
