Job Description

As a Duty Manager in our hotel, you will play a crucial role in overseeing hotel operations during your assigned shifts and ensuring seamless coordination among various departments. Your strong operational background, leadership experience in the hospitality industry, and proficiency in IDS software will be essential for excelling in this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Supervise and coordinate all hotel departments during your shift to maintain smooth day-to-day operations. - Monitor key guest service areas such as the front desk, lobby, housekeeping, and security. - Ensure accurate operational transactions in IDS software. **Guest Relations & Service Recovery:** - Address guest requests, queries, and complaints promptly and professionally. - Uphold high levels of guest satisfaction and handle escalated issues effectively. - Personally greet VIP and long-stay guests and facilitate special arrangements. **Coordination & Communication:** - Serve as the primary point of contact between guests and departments. - Coordinate with housekeeping, F&B, engineering, and security for timely service delivery. - Conduct effective shift handovers with updated information on VIP guests and pending issues. **Compliance & Safety:** - Ensure adherence to hotel policies, SOPs, and safety regulations. - Monitor emergency procedures and prioritize guest and team safety during incidents. **Team Supervision:** - Provide guidance and support to the front office and night audit teams. - Train staff in service standards, guest handling, and proper IDS usage. - Monitor the grooming, conduct, and service etiquette of on-duty staff. **Reporting:** - Prepare shift reports, incident logs, and summaries of guest feedback. - Ensure accurate recording of data entries, billing, and night audit activities in IDS. **Requirements:** - Diploma or Bachelors degree in Hotel Management or related field. - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in front office or operational roles within the hospitality sector. - Mandatory proficiency in IDS Hotel ERP system. - Strong communication, leadership, and crisis-handling skills. - Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. - Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is advantageous. In this full-time role, you will be eligible for benefits such as cell phone reimbursement and provided meals. The work location is in person, requiring your presence on-site.,
