About the Role

The role involves designing, coding, testing, and managing various applications while collaborating with the engineering team and product team to establish the best products.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test and manage various applications
• Collaborate with engineering team and product team to establish best products
• Follow outlined standards of quality related to code and systems
• Develop automated tests and conduct performance tuning
• Responsible for maintaining and developing REST microservices with .NET Core and C#
• Strong expertise in Azure is required for this role
• Develop user interface modules using Angular and other web front end technologies
• Create front end coding and design guidelines to be used throughout the applications
• Strong understanding of OOPS concepts and design patterns used in web application development
• Design and develop microservices with .NET Core and C# in an Agile setting
• Implement REST patterns, SOLID principles and .NET Core best practices
• Make architecture recommendations based on the Azure Well-Architected Framework and choose appropriate Azure services in order to meet business requirements
• Integrate microservices with Azure services in order to meet business requirements
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and PowerShell
• Write unit and integration tests in order to meet code coverage requirements
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore developers to create and maintain product features
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to less experienced or less knowledgeable members of the team
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and other scrum ceremonies
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• 6+ years of experience working with .NET or relevant experiences
• Experience developing web-based applications in C#, HTML, JavaScript, VBScript/ASP, or .NET
• Experience working with MS SQL Server and MySQL
• Knowledge of practices and procedures for full software design life cycle
• Experience working in agile development environment

Required Skills

• .NET Core

• REST APIs (verbs, route names, response status codes)
• SOLID patterns, design patterns
• Hands-on experience in working with Angular (18 or higher is preferred)
• Experience with PrimeNG and typescript is important
• Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript, Typescript
• Azure services (App Service, Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, Blob Storage, Table Storage, SQL Database, Key Vault, App Insights)
• T-SQL
• Azure DevOps (build and release pipelines)
• Microservice Architecture
• Agile

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional Azure services
• Familiarity with other programming languages
