As a Software Architect in our Custom Apps domain, you will lead the architectural efforts on innovative Kubernetes-based solutions tailored for telecom network use cases. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll shape the design and development of high-volume applications that drive our NWR portfolio. Your work environment will be dynamic and high-paced, encouraging creativity and teamwork as we tackle complex difficulties together. You will engage directly with customers and stakeholders, translating requirements into robust, cloud-native architectures while mentoring junior developers.
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Lead architecture efforts for custom applications in the NWR portfolio within a fast-paced telco environment.
- Design, develop, and implement cloud-native solutions, leveraging Kubernetes and microservices.
- Automate deployment processes and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Ansible.
- Ensure security best practices by identifying and fixing vulnerabilities in software products.
- Guide and mentor team members in software development methodologies, including Agile and DevOps principles.
- Monitor system performance and conduct performance testing for high-traffic applications.
Key Skills And Experience
You have:
- 10+ years of experience in Telecom and mediation solutions, including network architecture and transport technologies.
- Knowledge in cloud-native development, including microservices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven ability in automation using tools like Ansible and Jenkins.
- Experience with Kubernetes-based cloud application design and deployment.
It would be nice if you also had:
- Experience in DevOps practices with tools such as Jenkins for CI/CD.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Familiarity with Kafka, Elasticsearch, and FluentD.
- Background in telecom and experience with APJ customers.
