Documentation Specialist

Role Overview: You will be responsible for producing high-quality documentation suitable for the target audience. Your role involves collaborating with internal teams to gather product and documentation requirements, and writing user-friendly user interface text, online help, and developer guides. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, prepare, and maintain documentation related to business processes, technical systems, and other processes. - Research, review, and gather technical information for documentation purposes. - Adhere to client norms, maintain document quality, and address errors during document copying and other tasks. - Create new documentation or update existing documents to accurately reflect process changes. - Collaborate with internal teams to gain a thorough understanding of product and documentation needs. - Write and update end-user documentation and online instructional content. - Analyze documents to ensure consistency in style and content. - Utilize software skills to write, edit, revise, and compare documents following guidelines. - Draft detailed policy and procedure documents based on discussions with process owners. - Work with clients to comprehend project requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Ensure document security, assign access, and manage obsolete document removal and destruction. Qualifications Required: - 3-4 years of experience in technical writing for software documentation. - Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to engage with various organizational levels. - Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. - Demonstrated creativity, multitasking capability, prioritization skills, and meeting deadlines. - Proficiency in Excel and Word at an advanced level. - Ability to manage multiple requests while documenting activities in detail.,
