Document Controller

Responsibilities

• Expertise on asset information management experience in oil and gas industry
• Understanding and documenting work processes, organizing meetings with stakeholders
• Hands on technical experience in relation to document control and DMS enhancement / improvement activities.
  

Skill

• Communicating with Engineering team, DC’s, Site team and Various EPC’s to address the queries on priority basis to ensure the smooth flow of documentation.
• Managing the Red & Blue markups from Contractors & ensuring it is included for the preparation of Construction deliverables from EPC’s.
• Managing the CRS (Comment response Sheet) from EPC for better and effective resolution of comments.
• Day-to-day document control project execution activities for managing Engineering and Supplier documentation.
• Transmittal and final documentation management.
• Managing review-approval workflows between VG and their EPCs / Suppliers.
• Updating the document distribution matrix and bulk loading to DMS.
• Perform quality check on document metadata for EPC/Supplier and internal documentation.
• Processing Document retrieval requests.
• Handling Daily reports and due reminders for the closure of pending documents.
• Maintain daily log for document requests, rejection and deletion and updated regularly.
• Perform quality check on documents.
• Creating document number or deletion place holder requests.
