Description
We are urgently looking to hire a DevOps Engineer to join our growing team, following the departure of a key team member. This is a critical, high-priority position that plays a pivotal role in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of our cloud infrastructure. You will be responsible for managing our AWS-based infrastructure, implementing security best practices, automating deployment processes, and supporting our development and operations teams with a strong focus on performance, uptime, and cost optimization. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on AWS. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation tools. Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability to meet SLAs and uptime requirements. Perform cost optimization and performance tuning on cloud environments. Ensure robust cloud security practices including IAM management, encryption, and compliance controls. Troubleshoot production issues across the stack hardware, software, application, and network. Collaborate closely with development, QA, and product teams to align infrastructure with business needs. Maintain and improve system documentation and runbooks for ongoing support and audits. Requirements 6-8 years of relevant experience in DevOps / Site Reliability Engineering roles. Deep expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, Lambda, etc.). Strong foundation in Linux administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, etc.). Proven experience with cloud security, including access control, encryption, and secure architecture design. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Shell. Hands-on experience with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes is highly preferred. Experience with monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc. Familiarity with version control (Git), branching strategies, and release management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset. Nice To Have AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect). Experience in multi-cloud environments (e.g., GCP, Azure). Knowledge of SOC2, HIPAA, or other compliance frameworks (if relevant to your domain).
