Job Description

As a Divisional Risk and Control Analyst, AVP at Deutsche Bank in Bangalore, India, you will be part of the Embedded Risk team responsible for covering all aspects of the DB Risk Framework and Regulatory support for KYC Ops, Client Data Management (CDM), and Business Financial Crime Risk (BFCR). Reporting locally to the India based Embedded Risk Team (ERT) Lead and functionally to the Control Testing Lead in the UK, you will work closely with global peers to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the risk profile, transparent handoffs, and interdependencies across functions and regions. Your role will involve engaging regularly with first line processing teams and collaborating with various regulatory and control functions to maintain transparency and governance of risk. You will also work in collaboration with multiple first and second line functions such as Regulatory Management Group (RMG), Anti-Financial Crime (AFC), Divisional Control Regulatory Office (DCRO), and the Business. To be successful in this role, you should have substantial experience in the financial sector, exposure to client onboarding, KYC or similar regulatory projects, strong communication and interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, organizational and administrative skills, and a client-focused approach. Experience in European languages will be beneficial as this role will support Europe.
