The International Institute of Information Technology Hyderabad, established in 1998,

The recently created Division of Flexible Learning (DFL) at IIIT Hyderabad aims to

extend the institute's expertise and legacy of quality education to learners worldwide through

innovative online and other programs.

Job Description:

The institution is seeking passionate and experienced Instructors for Online Education to join

its dynamic instructional team. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering high-

quality, engaging, and learner-centred instruction in a fully online environment. The

instructor will play a key role in helping students achieve their academic and professional

goals through effective teaching, assessment, and mentorship.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Course Delivery: Conduct live and/or pre-recorded sessions based on the prescribed

curriculum using online teaching platforms (e.g., Zoom, Google Meet, LMS systems).

Content Development: Prepare and update instructional materials, lesson plans,

quizzes, assignments, and reading resources to align with learning objectives.

Assessment: Design and evaluate assessments (formative and summative), provide

timely feedback, and monitor student performance.

Engagement & Support: Foster an inclusive, interactive, and student-centric learning

environment; provide academic support via discussion forums and emails.

Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with best practices in online teaching and

pedagogy. Participate in faculty development and training programs.

Collaboration: Work closely with the academic team to ensure consistency in course

delivery, share teaching strategies, and contribute to program development.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s or PhD in CS / Data Science / Statistics / AI / ML or allied fields from a

university of repute.

• A minimum of 2 – 5 years of teaching experience, preferably in an online or blended

learning environment.• Proficient in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and online tools (Moodle,

Open edX, Google Classroom, etc.).

• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to design and deliver engaging online content.

Location: IIIT Hyderabad, Gachibowli

Employment Type: Full-time / Contractual

Consolidated pay: ₹60,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications)

Appointment Duration: 3 years, renewable
