Distributor Sales Representative

A Distributor Sales Representative (DSR) sells a company's products by building relationships with retailers and other clients, identifying new business opportunities, achieving sales targets, and managing the product distribution process. Key responsibilities include conducting sales presentations, demonstrating product features, negotiating pricing, providing customer support, and handling administrative tasks like sales reporting. DSRs need strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, often requiring extensive travel and outdoor work.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales & Account Management:
• Identify and attract new customers (retailers, businesses) to expand the distributor's customer base.
• Nurture and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients to foster repeat business.
• Conduct persuasive sales presentations and demonstrations of products to potential and existing clients.
• Product & Market Knowledge:
• Educate customers and counter sales staff on product features, benefits, and applications.
• Analyze market trends and customer needs to recommend tailored solutions and identify new opportunities.
• Stay informed about competitor activities and products to maintain a competitive edge.
• Distribution & Operations:
• Develop and follow daily and weekly route plans to efficiently cover assigned territories.
• Collect payments from retailers and manage financial transactions in accordance with organisational policies.
• Reporting & Administration:
• Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and expense accounts to management.
• Handle administrative duties, such as maintaining customer files, managing order guides, and responding to client inquiries.
• Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and one-on-ones with management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
