Job Summary: The Sales Coordinator – Plant Coordination will serve as the crucial link between the sales team and the manufacturing/dispatch plant. This role focuses on order execution, production alignment, dispatch planning, and ensuring timely delivery of lubricants. The ideal candidate should have strong coordination skills, basic technical understanding, and experience in handling logistics or plant communication. Key Responsibilities:1. Plant Coordination & Order Execution Act as the single point of contact between the sales team and the plant for order planning and dispatch. Coordinate with the production team to prioritize urgent orders and plan blending/filling schedules. Communicate daily with plant teams regarding order status, stock availability, packaging readiness, and delays. 2. Dispatch & Logistics Planning Create dispatch plans based on confirmed orders and customer urgency. Coordinate with transporters/logistics partners to ensure timely pick-up and delivery. Share dispatch details with sales and customers, including vehicle tracking and documentation. 3. Documentation & System Updates Ensure timely generation and dispatch of invoices, delivery challans, and e-way bills. Update dispatch and order execution records in ERP/Excel regularly. Maintain accurate reports on stock, pending orders, daily dispatch status, and plant feedback. 4. Sales & Customer Support Share dispatch schedules and order updates with customers as required. Inform the sales team of any expected delays or plant constraints. Support in resolving any plant-related issues that affect customer service (e.g., packaging delays, quality checks). 5. Internal Coordination Work closely with: Sales team for priority orders and customer communication. Accounts team for payment clearance before dispatch. Purchase team for raw material or packaging stock requirements. Requirements: Education: Any graduate (Commerce/Science/Engineering preferred). Experience: 2–5 years in plant coordination, sales operations, or dispatch roles (preferably in lubricants, chemicals, or FMCG). Skills: Strong coordination and follow-up ability. Good working knowledge of MS Excel and dispatch systems. Ability to understand plant/production processes. Proficiency in English and Hindi (regional language a plus). Familiarity with ERP software and basic logistics documentation. Work Conditions: Full-time, Office-based or located near the Plant. Must be available during peak dispatch hours and month-end.
