Job Description

As a Distributor Sales Representative (DSR), your role will involve driving direct sales to industrial customers and managing dealer sales in the Surat market. You will be responsible for developing relationships with industrial clients, dealers, and workshops to achieve sales growth for lubricant products. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and acquire new industrial customers (manufacturers, engineering firms, textile units, automotive workshops, etc.). - Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase lubricant benefits. - Provide technical support to customers on lubricant applications and performance. - Negotiate pricing and close deals to achieve sales targets. - Ensure timely delivery and after-sales service to build long-term relationships. - Appoint new lubricant dealers and expand the existing dealer network. - Train and support dealers to enhance their sales capabilities. - Conduct regular dealer visits to monitor performance and resolve concerns. - Ensure proper stock availability at dealer locations and assist in order planning. - Drive dealer promotions and marketing activities to boost sales. - Conduct market research to identify new opportunities. - Promote and introduce new lubricant products in the market. - Develop sales strategies to penetrate untapped areas in Surat and surrounding regions. - Gather competitor intelligence and suggest pricing strategies. - Maintain accurate records of sales visits, customer inquiries, and order closures. - Coordinate with internal teams for smooth order processing and logistics. - Provide regular sales reports and market feedback to management. Key Requirements: - Experience: 2-5 years in industrial sales, lubricant sales, or dealer management. - Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory). - Skills: - Strong B2B and B2C sales experience. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Knowledge of industrial lubricants. - Ability to work independently and meet sales targets. - Basic computer skills (MS Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Languages: Fluent in Gujarati, Hindi, and English. - Travel: Willing to travel extensively within Surat and nearby industrial areas.
