Dispatch Supervisor

Position: Dispatch Supervisor
Department: Logistics / Stores / Dispatch
Reports to: Production / Plant Head / Operations Manager

Role Overview:

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Dispatch Supervisor to manage and oversee all dispatch activities in a manufacturing environment (Sheet Metal & Fabrication industry). The candidate will ensure timely, accurate, and safe dispatch of finished goods, proper documentation, and coordination with production, stores, and logistics teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage daily dispatch operations of finished goods.
• Coordinate with production, stores, and quality teams for dispatch planning.
• Ensure packing, labeling, and documentation as per customer requirements.
• Maintain dispatch schedules and ensure on-time delivery of materials.
• Prepare and verify challans, invoices, e-way bills, and transport documents.
• Monitor loading/unloading activities and ensure safe handling of goods.
• Maintain accurate records of stock movement, dispatch registers, and ERP entries.
• Coordinate with transporters and ensure vehicles are arranged on time.
• Track shipments and update customers/internal teams on dispatch status.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
• Train and guide dispatch staff/helpers for efficient operations.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Knowledge of dispatch operations in sheet metal & fabrication industry.
• Familiar with logistics, transport, and documentation procedures.
• Hands-on experience with ERP / Excel / Dispatch Management Systems.
• Good knowledge of packing methods for sheet metal/fabricated components.
• Ability to manage a team of dispatch staff and helpers.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Problem-solving attitude with attention to detail.

Qualification & Experience:

• Qualification: Graduate / Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, Logistics, or related field.
• Experience: 3–7 years in dispatch/logistics in a manufacturing or sheet metal/fabrication industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
