Dispatch Supervisor

As a Dispatch Coordinator, your role involves managing the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles or personnel, ensuring efficient routes and timely deliveries. Your key responsibilities will include: - Scheduling and Dispatching: You will be responsible for planning routes, managing schedules, and dispatching vehicles or personnel according to predetermined plans or immediate needs. - Communication: Act as a liaison between field personnel (drivers, crews, etc.) and management, using various communication methods such as radios and phones. - Problem-Solving: Address any issues or delays during the dispatch process, including traffic problems, route changes, or equipment malfunctions. - Documentation: Maintain accurate records of dispatch calls, routes, delivery schedules, and other relevant information. - Customer Relations: Communicate with customers to provide updates on delivery times, resolve complaints, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. - Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to company policies and regulations, including safety guidelines and DOT regulations.
