Dispatch Executive

Job Title: Dispatch Supervisor Department: Warehouse & Logistics Location: Birla Opus Paint Warehouse, Sachendi, Kanpur Reports To: Warehouse Manager / Logistics Head Job Summary: Our company is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Dispatch Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the timely dispatch of goods from our paint warehouse. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient shipment planning, inventory accuracy, vehicle loading, and adherence to safety and compliance standards, maintaining smooth day-to-day logistics operations. Key Responsibilities: Supervise the daily dispatch operations and ensure timely and accurate delivery of paint products to customers. Coordinate with sales, transporters, and warehouse teams for smooth dispatch planning. Monitor loading activities to ensure correct quantity, product type, and safe packaging practices. Maintain dispatch records, invoices, e-way bills, and delivery challans. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and government transportation regulations. Track delivery vehicles and address any delays or logistics issues in real-time. Monitor stock levels, prevent overstocking/understocking, and assist in inventory reconciliation. Train and supervise warehouse loaders or dispatch helpers as needed. Liaise with third-party transporters and vendors to ensure vehicle availability and performance. Generate daily/weekly dispatch reports for internal review. Key Requirements: Education: Graduate in any discipline (Preferred: Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field) Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in dispatch/logistics operations, preferably in paints, FMCG, or chemical warehousing. Skills: Strong coordination and communication abilities Working knowledge of e-way bills, transport documentation Problem-solving and team-handling capabilities Preferred Traits: Prior experience in paint or hazardous goods warehouse Understanding of RTO, EWB, and route planning Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure Employment Type: Full-time Salary: As per industry standards Benefits: PF, ESIC, Incentives, Uniform, Annual Bonus, etc.
