Job Description

  • This role is pivotal in shaping and executing the overall partnership strategy, driving long-term, sustainable growth for the business by identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities within the financial ecosystem
  • The candidate should possess a deep understanding of the banking and financial services landscape, with a proven ability to forge and nurture strategic relationships that align with both organizational goals and market needs
  • Key Responsibilities:Strategic Partnership Development: Spearhead the identification, negotiation, and execution of high-impact, long-term partnerships with key Financial Institutions, to strategically drive the growth and adoption of the TReDs platform
  • Focus on aligning partnerships with business objectives, and expanding the platforms reach across Indias financial ecosystem
  • Relationship Building & Stakeholder Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders in partner institutions, ensuring alignment of business goals and seamless collaboration to drive mutual success
  • Business Growth & Market Penetration: Develop and implement targeted strategies to increase market penetration, foster new business opportunities, and drive the growth of TReDS business through innovative financial solutions tailored to institutional partners
  • Thought Leadership & Industry Insights: Serve as a subject matter expert, leveraging deep industry knowledge to influence key financial institutions strategies, positioning TReDS as a critical partner in the evolution of trade receivables financing
  • Regulatory & Compliance Alignment: Ensure all partnership activities comply with India s financial regulations and legal frameworks, keeping partners and internal teams aligned with evolving policies
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with internal teams (sales, operations, legal, and compliance) to align partnership strategies with broader organizational objectives, ensuring seamless execution and delivery of partner commitments
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Develop metrics to assess the success of partnerships, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and provide regular reports to senior management on partnership health, growth trajectory, and areas for optimization
  • Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis: Continuously monitor the financial services market, identifying emerging trends, new opportunities, and competitive threats, and leveraging this intelligence to refine partnership strategies
  • Key Qualifications & Experience:Education: Post-graduate degree in Business, Finance, or related fields (MBA or equivalent preferred)
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, relationship management, or partnership management within the financial services sector, with a specific focus on Public Sector Banks (PSBs) and private sector banks in India
  • Skills & Competencies:Ability to develop long-term partnership strategies aligned with business goals and market opportunities
  • Expertise in building and maintaining high-level relationships with senior executives at financial institutionsStrong skills in negotiating and structuring complex partnership agreements
  • Ability to present and communicate complex ideas to senior stakeholders clearly and effectively
