Role Overview

As Director – Sales, you will lead Docsumo’s Sales team and work closely with the Founders to drive revenue growth, consistently achieve team quotas, and expand our footprint in the U.S. market. You will be responsible for building a high-performing sales organization, shaping strategy, and closing key enterprise deals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a team of sales professionals to consistently achieve revenue targets.
  • Recruit, onboard, and coach sales team members while fostering a performance-driven culture.
  • Build and manage pipeline through outbound initiatives, webinars, events, and partnerships.
  • Develop and implement scalable sales playbooks, processes, and best practices.
  • Own the entire sales cycleβ€”from prospecting and demos to negotiation and closing.
  • Deliver compelling presentations, product demos, and proposals to enterprise technology buyers.
  • Establish and grow long-term strategic relationships with key accounts and C-level stakeholders.
  • Define and track OKRs/KRAs for individuals and the sales team; regularly review performance metrics.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align strategies.
  • Analyze pipeline data and client feedback to provide insights and continuously improve processes.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in

    B2B sales

    , with at least 3+ years in a

    sales leadership role

    .
  • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with experience in distributed/global teams.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and build trust with

    C-level executives

    .
  • Highly self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented.
  • Ability to work

    USA East Coast hours (8 AM – 5 PM EST)

    .
  • Proficiency in English with a strong understanding of U.S. business culture.
