Director-Projects

Position Summary:

The Director of Projects is responsible for the strategic leadership, planning, and execution of capital and operational projects across the university. This includes oversight of major construction, renovation, infrastructure, and special initiatives. The Director ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with university standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

o Lead the planning, design, and execution of projects.

o Ensure adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.

o Align projects with the university's strategic plan and sustainability goals.

o Provide long-term planning and forecasting for capital development.

o Serve as the primary liaison between university leadership, consultants, contractors, and end-users.

o Facilitate project meetings and regular updates with stakeholders.

o Foster a high-performance, collaborative team culture.

o Prepare reports for senior administration and governing boards.

o Communicate project status, challenges, and milestones clearly and effectively.

Education:

· Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Experience:

· 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in project management, preferably in higher education.

· Proven experience in related domain.
