As an integral part of the Andaz Delhi team, you will play a crucial role in driving the hotel's Sales Strategy to achieve and surpass revenue targets across various departments including Rooms, Food and Beverage. Your responsibilities will involve ensuring that Sales activities are in line with the Corporate Marketing Strategy and assisting in the preparation and maintenance of Departmental Operations Manuals. In the realm of Customer Services, you will oversee that all hotel employees consistently deliver exceptional guest service while embodying the brand promise. Handling guest and internal customer inquiries and complaints efficiently and courteously will be a key aspect of your role. Moreover, you will be expected to provide constructive feedback to department heads to uphold service standards. Financial acumen will be vital as you work towards maximizing employee productivity to meet the business's financial objectives and guest expectations. Assisting in the preparation of the annual sales plan, monthly sales reports, and managing departmental costs will be part of your financial responsibilities. Adhering to financial record-keeping regulations and timely reporting will be crucial in this role. Your involvement in Marketing will entail implementing sales strategies in line with Smart Selling approaches to foster a disciplined sales team and achieve sales goals. Monitoring market trends and competitor initiatives will be essential to ensure the hotel's marketing and sales efforts remain competitive. You will also contribute to managing key sales accounts, pricing strategies, and sales resource allocation. In the realm of Personnel, you will be involved in recruitment, selection, and development of Sales employees. Ensuring employee punctuality, grooming standards, and professional development will be part of your responsibilities. Implementing training programs, conducting Performance Development Discussions, and supporting employees" growth will be crucial to enhancing the skills and abilities of the sales team. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience, ideally with a degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management. Problem-solving skills, interpersonal abilities, and a growth mindset will be key traits for success. Emphasizing the importance of coaching, mentoring, and empowering the team will be central to your approach.
