Director of Sales

As an Administration and Sales Coordinator at Andaz Delhi, your role will involve assisting in the implementation of the hotel's Sales Strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets in Rooms, Food and Beverage, and other revenue departments. You will ensure alignment of sales activities with the Corporate Marketing Strategy and represent the Sales function in the absence of the Director of Sales. Your responsibilities will also include preparing and updating Departmental Operations Manuals, attending departmental meetings, and ensuring effective communication within the team. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor that all hotel employees deliver exceptional guest service and uphold the brand promise - Provide constructive feedback to department heads for continuous improvement - Handle guest and internal customer complaints efficiently to achieve satisfactory resolutions - Maximize employee productivity through multi-skilling, multi-tasking, and flexible scheduling - Assist in the preparation of the annual sales plan and monthly sales reports - Manage sales resources, control departmental costs, and ensure compliance with financial regulations - Implement sales strategies in line with Smart Selling approaches to build a strong sales team - Monitor market trends and competitor initiatives to keep the hotel's marketing and sales competitive - Manage key sales accounts and groups, develop pricing strategies, and optimize sales resources - Participate in sales meetings, adjust sales strategies, and utilize sales and catering systems effectively - Conduct market surveys and research to stay informed about competitors Qualifications: - Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar position - Ideally hold a degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management - Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills - Demonstrate a growth mindset - Ability to coach, mentor, and empower team members Join Andaz Delhi as an Administration and Sales Coordinator to contribute to the success of the hotel through effective sales strategies, exceptional customer service, and a collaborative team environment.,
