Educational Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree (M.Ed.)

• Ph.D. Degree in Education

  or in any allied discipline relevant to education.

• B.Ed.

  degree is essential.

Experience:

• At least

  15 years of teaching experience

  in a Department/College of Education.
• Out of the total experience, a minimum of

  5 years in an administrative or leadership role

  (as Principal, HoD, or equivalent).
• Record of

  academic leadership

  ,

  research publications

  , and participation in

  seminars/workshops

  at national or international level.

Other Desirable Requirements:

• Familiarity with

  NCTE, UGC, and University regulations

• Experience with

  NAAC accreditation, IQAC processes, and academic audits

  .
• Strong communication and leadership skills to guide faculty and students.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide

  academic, strategic, and administrative leadership

  to ensure institutional excellence.
• Ensure compliance with

  NCTE, UGC, and HPU

  academic and regulatory requirements.
• Supervise curriculum delivery, teacher education practicum, and academic assessments.
• Lead initiatives for

  faculty development

  ,

  research promotion

  , and

  innovation in pedagogy

  .
• Coordinate academic planning, admissions, examinations, and student services.
• Represent the college in academic councils, boards, and affiliating university meetings.
• Drive NAAC accreditation and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
