Director of Accounting

As the Director of Accounting, you will be responsible for overseeing all accounting functions within the organization. Your main role will involve ensuring compliance with tax and accounting regulations, managing the preparation and filing of financial statements, and utilizing your excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. **Key Responsibilities:** - Oversee the preparation of all necessary monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial reporting. - Monitor financial data accuracy and proper recording of all transactions. - Analyze financial data for patterns, trends, and anomalies, recommending corrective actions when necessary. - Develop and implement financial policies and procedures for compliance with laws and regulations. - Collaborate with the CFO and VP of FP&A to prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. - Provide financial guidance to department heads, ensuring alignment with organizational strategic goals. - Support mergers and acquisitions by reviewing financial information. - Supervise and mentor accounting staff. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. - Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting and finance, with a preference for Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. - Advanced knowledge of GAAP and US federal and state tax laws. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software. - Workday experience is a plus.,
