Role Overview: You are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Finance Director to join the dynamic leadership team at a leading electronic manufacturing company specializing in smart metering solutions. As the Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial performance, strategic decision-making, and operational excellence within the organization. Your expertise in financial management, analysis, and leadership will be instrumental in shaping the company's growth trajectory and ensuring financial sustainability. Key Responsibilities: - Provide visionary leadership to the finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. - Present the company to financial institutions and banks as a leadership team member to attract lucrative funds nationally and globally. - Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the company's long-term goals, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability. - Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, driving accuracy and efficiency. - Monitor and analyze financial performance, preparing regular reports for the executive team and board of directors. - Proactively discuss methods to enhance financial performance by bringing changes in the existing business processes. - Oversee capital allocation, investment analysis, and risk management strategies to optimize financial resources. - Implement and enhance financial controls, policies, and procedures to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and expansion efforts. - Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the CEO and executive regional & global team to drive informed decision-making. - Engage with external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and financial institutions, to maintain strong relationships and secure necessary funding. Qualifications Required: - Chartered Accountant (CA) (mandatory). - Minimum of 15 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the electronic manufacturing or technology industry including software. - Clear understanding of software as a service, hardware as a service concept. - Proven experience in multinational corporations with exposure to complex financial structures, international operations, and regulatory compliance. - Strong familiarity with Indian financial regulations, taxation, various financial and other business benefits available in states/countries, and reporting standards. - Track record of successful engagement with external stakeholders, including investors, financial institutions, and auditors. - Demonstrated participation in driving strategic initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and capital raising. - Proven track record of strategic financial leadership, with the ability to align financial functions with organizational goals and drive value creation. - Comprehensive understanding of electronics manufacturing industry dynamics, smart metering solutions (recommended), and global market trends to make informed financial decisions. - Demonstrated capability to contribute to the development and execution of long-term business strategies, identifying opportunities for growth and operational improvement. - Strong analytical skills to interpret complex financial data, assess risks, and formulate actionable insights for driving performance improvements. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and board members. - Proven experience leading financial transformation initiatives, driving process improvements, and adapting to evolving business environments. - Uncompromising commitment to ethical business practices, integrity, and compliance with regulatory standards. - Ability to build, mentor, and motivate high-performing finance and accounting teams, fostering a culture of excellence.
