About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic leader to design, implement, and scale experiential learning initiatives at K.R. Mangalam University. This role will ensure that students across disciplines engage in hands-on, project-based, and real-world learning experiences that prepare them for careers, entrepreneurship, and lifelong learning.
The position requires someone who can connect industry, academia, and the community while embedding experiential learning deeply into the curriculum.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership
Build and lead the Experiential Learning Office for the university.
Develop and implement a framework for project-based and problem-based learning across all schools.
Align experiential learning with NEP 2020 guidelines and accreditation requirements (NAAC, NBA, NIRF, QS, etc.).
Program Development Execution
Curate and oversee experiential modules, hackathons, industry projects, maker-lab initiatives, live case studies, and community immersion projects.
Work closely with Deans, HoDs, and faculty to embed experiential components into courses.
Introduce multi-disciplinary project courses and track student outcomes.
Industry Community Engagement
Build partnerships with industry, startups, NGOs, and government bodies for real-world projects.
Facilitate mentorship opportunities by connecting students with industry experts and alumni.
Student Experience Outcomes
Monitor and evaluate project quality, student engagement, and learning outcomes.
Ensure smooth execution of internships, field projects, and service-learning.
Design recognition frameworks (e.g., Dean s List, Excellence in Experiential Learning Awards).

Qualifications Experience

Master s/PhD in Education, Management, Engineering, or related fields.
8+ years of experience in academic leadership, experiential learning, or industry-academia collaboration.
Strong network with industry, startups, and social sector organizations.
Proven track record of implementing project-based or experiential programs in higher education.
