Position Overview

The Director – Business Intelligence is responsible for leading data-driven decision-making 📊 across Lovely Professional University. This leader will integrate AI 🤖, predictive analytics 📈, and advanced reporting tools into academic and operational processes to deliver strategic insights, drive institutional growth 🚀, and champion data-informed educational excellence 🏆.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Business Intelligence team 👥 in designing and implementing analytics, predictive modeling, and reporting solutions for university operations and academics.
• Develop and oversee BI strategies to facilitate data-informed decisions at all levels of the university 🏫.
• Integrate AI and advanced analytics into curriculum development, student performance measurement, and institutional research 💡.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative leaders 🤝 to identify requirements, deliver insights, and foster analytical capabilities across departments.
• Manage and maintain BI tools, including Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, and R 🛠️, ensuring high data quality, robust governance, and secure access 🔐.
• Mentor, manage, and develop BI team members to encourage innovation and excellence 🌟.
• Prepare and present strategic reports 📝 to senior leadership to inform institutional strategy and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Master’s and/or Ph.D. in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline 🎓.
• Significant experience, preferably 8+ years, in business intelligence, data analytics, or institutional research in academia or industry 🏢.
• Proven track record managing teams and leading strategic analytics initiatives ✅.
• Expertise with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, and R 🖥️.
• Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills 📬.
