Role Overview: As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end procurement of consumables, instruments, laboratory machines, and related capex/opex items. Your main duties will include developing procurement strategies, driving commercial negotiations, contracting, and ensuring compliance to procurement policies. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and execute procurement strategies for consumables, reagents, chemicals, instruments, laboratory machines, project, and general materials. - Independently manage high-value procurement spends and vendor base across categories. - Ensure standardization, alternate sourcing, and long-term supply assurance. - Build and maintain relationships with global and domestic OEMs and suppliers. - Lead negotiations, contracting, and supplier performance management. - Drive cost efficiency while ensuring quality and compliance. - Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, licensing requirements, Taxation, and quality standards. - Manage vendor audits, procurement contracts, and compliance with internal SOPs. - Lead and mentor a team, driving automation, ERP-enabled procurement processes, and reporting for transparency. - Ensure timely availability of consumables and equipment to avoid operational disruptions. - Focus on using technological tools like eauction/ reverse auction/ Catalogue/Small buy to improve efficiency, bring down costs, and improve transparency. Qualifications Required: - 12-15 years of experience in procurement within Healthcare, Diagnostics, Medical Devices, Pharma, or FMCG industries. - Graduate/Postgraduate in Science, Engineering, Pharma, or Supply Chain (B.Tech/BE Chemical, Biomedical, or related field preferred). - Proven track record in managing procurement of consumables, instruments, and capex equipment.
