Job Description:
We are seeking a results-driven Direct Sales Engineer to promote and sell Arc Gouging Carbon Electrodes and Specialty Carbon Graphite Products directly to industrial clients. This role requires both a technical understanding of the products and a strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships within industrial sectors such as fabrication, steel manufacturing, foundries, and heavy engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct selling of carbon electrodes and graphite products to industries in the assigned region
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in maintenance, production, and procurement departments
  • Conduct regular onsite visits to understand customer requirements, offer technical guidance, and ensure product satisfaction
  • Identify new sales opportunities and convert leads into long-term business relationships
  • Prepare and deliver compelling product presentations and technical demonstrations
  • Provide post-sales support and coordination with internal teams for delivery and service
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Maintain accurate sales records, activity logs, and CRM data
  • Prepare periodic reports and forecasts for management review

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Education:
  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales of industrial products
  • Experience with carbon/graphite products, welding consumables, or similar industrial solutions is a strong advantage
  • Skills:
  • Strong technical and commercial acumen
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently in the field
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM tools is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
