DFT Lead Engineer - ASIC / SoC designs

Role Overview

• We are seeking an experienced DFT Lead Engineer to own and drive Design for Testability (DFT) architecture, implementation, and sign-off for complex ASIC / SoC designs. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in MBIST/LBIST, Scan, ATPG, and lead teams to ensure high test coverage and silicon quality.

Key Responsibilities

• • Lead DFT architecture definition and implementation for ASIC/SoC designs
• • Own Scan insertion, Boundary Scan (JTAG), and test logic integration
• • Drive MBIST / LBIST architecture, insertion, and validation
• • Generate and debug ATPG patterns to achieve high fault coverage
• • Perform DFT simulations (scan, MBIST/LBIST, at-speed) and debug failures
• • Work closely with RTL, PD, and DV teams to resolve DFT-related issues
• • Support DFT sign-off, test mode validation, and tape-out activities
• • Drive silicon debug and support post-silicon bring-up when required
• • Automate DFT flows using scripting (TCL / Perl / Python / Shell)
• • Review DFT deliverables and ensure adherence to best practices
• • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership

Key Expertise / Skills

• • Strong hands-on experience in DFT for ASIC / SoC designs
• • Expertise in MBIST, LBIST, Scan, Boundary Scan (JTAG)
• • Solid experience with ATPG pattern generation and debug
• • Proficiency in DFT simulation and debugging
• • Strong understanding of scan/clock/reset architectures
• • Experience with DFT-related EDA tools (Synopsys / Cadence / Siemens)
• • Good scripting skills for flow automation and reporting
