In this role, you will play a pivotal part in transforming deployment operations by creating robust CI/CD pipelines. Accountabilities
- Transition legacy/manual deployment processes to a completely automated, DevOps ready posture
- Ownership in a very agile and fast-paced environment of the CI/CD pipeline for deployment and operations
- Create and maintain continuously evolving CI/CD pipelines across Dev, QA, and Production environments
- Develop strategies for higher organizational throughput via automation and flexible processes
- Design and create reliable continuous deployment solutions for internal and external customers
- Manage operational costs with optimal resource utilization across on-prem and cloud services
- Balance and plan long-term projects against the demands of a fast-changing environment
- Enforce security policies by ensuring vulnerabilities are tracked and addressed
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to environments
- Support teams through the Software Development Life Cycle by maintaining environments and tools
- Maintain documentation to facilitate understanding of products, features, and tools
Requirements
- 5-8 years experience with a B.S. or M.S. Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience driving CI/CD for cloud systems, particularly with AWS services
- 2+ years of experience in a global 24x7 SaaS/PaaS operation
- 2+ years of experience with virtualization and Docker containers
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, batch, bash, or Python
