Job Description

Overview:

SUMMARY

As a RELEASE ENGINEER III, you will report to the Sr. MANAGER / DIRECTOR. 6+ years’ experience working with CI/CD tools such as TFS, Azure DevOps (ADO), Jenkins including creating/troubleshooting new build/release pipelines. Should be flexible to work in SHIFTS.

Responsibilities:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Understand Customer requirements and analyze the gaps between existing architecture and customer requirements.
Prototype the proposed solutions, document & report to leadership & engineering teams for giving clarity on the proposal.
Demonstrate thought leadership in DevOps across multiple channels for various products & be a trusted advisor.
Provide Governance & oversight to guide implementation towards solution delivery.
Guide & mentor the team to successfully deliver the projects.
Develop and execute automated builds & releases, benchmark the industry standards & processes to ensure efficient and quality delivery and deployments.
Contribute to and review deployment plans; schedule the installation of new modules, upgrades, and fixes to the production environment.
Lead analytical & design activities with approved/validated technologies in par with the organization standards and vested approaches and methods.
Align IT security and IT operations teams to ensure that all processes, including DevOps processes, can operate safely and securely.

Qualifications:

6+ years’ experience working with CI/CD tools such as TFS, Azure DevOps (ADO), Jenkins including creating/troubleshooting new build/release pipelines.
4+ years’ experience working with Git Based source control repositories such as GitHub, Azure DevOps, BitBucket, etc.
4+ years’ experience in writing/maintaining bash/powershell scripts and Ansible.
2+ years’ experience working with cloud service providers.
2+ years of experience in creating multiple DevSecOps pipelines using SCA, SAST & DAST tools.
OWASP top 10 knowledge.
Detailed understanding of SCA, SAST & DAST (Knowledge on the listed tools will be an added advantage: SonarQube, Fortify on Demand, NetSparker, J-Frog X-Ray, Ansible, Terraform etc).
Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to learn new technologies and adapt to them.
Excellent communication & collaboration skills.
SME in build & release, automations, CAAS & various other technical capabilities.
