Design, develop, and maintain Terraform configurations for creating and managing GCP resources
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices
- Automate infrastructure deployments and configuration management using CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with product development teams to ensure smooth deployments and operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues
- Stay up-to-date on the latest GCP and Terraform features and best practices
On top of that, you can be asked to work on other value-adding projects for which GemOne knows and sees the potential it can bring to our own company and our customers, but which is to date still a greenfield within our organization. Therefore you will be able to play a pioneering role in exploiting these greenfields. Aside from the above mentioned “objectives”, you will also be able to learn from state-of-the-art IoT technology, together with a joyous mix of high-potentials and well seasoned professionals.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, Gitlab CI/CD)
- Scripting experience with languages like Bash or Python
- Knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
- Experience with a cloud service provider, preferably GCP
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Healthy level of criticism, i.e. not afraid to challenge the status quo
- Proactive mindset, spotting problems / challenges, but also drafting the potential solution and acting upon it
- Fluent in English
- Be open to traveling to Belgium up to 2–3 times per year. Bonus Points
- Experience with container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Cloud Monitoring)
- Experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
